Sarah attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University where she received her B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing. After a handful of harrowing and humbling entry-level jobs in Hollywood, she finally carved out a professional voice over career, most notably as "Cream," The Rabbit for Sega's Sonic The Hedgehog video game series. Concurrently, she was one of the pioneering online journalists in the mid-90s, pre-"blogging" internet era which ultimately lead to her return to NYU for a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with an emphasis on digital narratives. Prior to ToyTalk, Sarah worked as a National Producer and Digital Strategist for CBS News, and as a Creative Consultant for various brand-name and startup clients. When she's not writing fairy tales, Sarah is teaching herself to play the mandolin, singing show tunes or reading tea leaves.
