Dan has a B.A. in English from McGill University and an M.F.A. in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. He has performed on a number of Bay Area stages including A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, and California Shakespeare Theater and in such plays as "Romeo and Juliet", "A Christmas Carol", "The Taming of the Shrew", and "The Verona Project", for which he received a Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Nomination. Dan also teaches acting at A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory. His first ever role was King Herod in a nativity play, but after much of the cast was struck down by flu, he ended up also playing Joseph, one of the shepherds, and one of the wise men.
